Annual Meeting Conferences

BAZ-WEGMAN CONFERENCE
The Baz-Wegman Conference is the USMBHA Annual Meeting's main conference. During this conference, one keynote speaker from the United States and another one from Mexico present on a theme that is currently relevant to the U.S.-Mexico Border but also has a focus on the Annual Meeting's central theme.

This conference was named in honor of Dr. Myron Ezra Wegman from the United States and Dr. Gustavo Baz Prado from Mexico for their magnificent contributions to public health in their respective countries.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The USMBHA in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), promotes the organization of a conference where international health themes and issues are presented by an international speaker. During the last 66^th Annual Meeting in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Dr. Silvina Malvarez de Carlino, Human Resources Regional Advisor for the Pan American Heatlh Organization/WHO, presented on the "Migration Challenges of Human Resources in Health."
