Tuberculosis (TB) remains a threat to the health and well being of people around the world. Among infectious diseases, TB remains the second leading killer of adults in the world with more than 2 million TB-related deaths per year.

Global Health Websites Update Data for World TB Day (March 24)
Kaiser’s two global health websites, GlobalHealthReporting.org and GlobalHealthFacts.org, have been updated with the latest TB information from a new World Health Organization (WHO) report released this week. GlobalHealthFacts.org has been updated with new TB data across 18 indicators, including data on TB and HIV coinfection, TB cases, people living with TB and TB-related deaths. GlobalHealthReporting.org features updated background information, facts-at-a-glace and frequently asked questions about TB. The site also highlights new reports and resources for World TB Day, including an archived webcast of a roundtable discussion featuring some of the world's leading TB experts (available March 25).
